New Sermon Series

In February we started our new sermon series on The Sermon on the Mount. This is the greatest sermon ever preached by the greatest preacher who ever lived. Needless to say, it is important to know what Jesus taught in this famous sermon.

The sermon deals with the Kingdom of God that has broken into this world. In The Lord's Prayer we are taught to ask for God's Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is our heart's cry, "We want to see Your perfect rule and reign here on earth, as it is seen in heaven."

The sermon makes it clear that Jesus wants his disciples to live lives that are faithful to God's Kingdom even while they are living amongst the kingdoms of this world. This is how they (& us) can be salt and light in a lost world that badly needs Jesus Christ.
