The Way of the Cross

Our new sermon series is called "The way of the cross" and it takes a look at the life of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I only do what I see my Father doing" and "I only say what I hear my Father saying" and as we consider the way he lived, it becomes apparent that he lived in exactly that kind of way. He always chose his Father's will above his own and everything he did was a visible demonstration of life in the Kingdom.

Jesus encountered a ton of opposition along the way. He had to negotiate opposition from his family, his hometown, his friends, his religious leaders, and even spiritual forces. Despite all this, he pressed on and lived a remarkable life that impacted all of humanity. His life of self-sacrifice and self-denial that ended on the cross became the example for everyone who wishes to follow him.
