Brian arrived at WBC as teaching pastor in November 2015. He has experience in a variety of church traditions and believes that there is something that can be learned from all of them.
He has a global perspective, having lived and worked in Africa, Asia and North America. In fact, he believes a multicultural church is prophetic, experiencing in the here and now what will be evident in the future as God’s people from every nation, tribe and tongue gather before His throne.
Brian and his wife, Lisa, have three wonderful children: Morné, Chevonne and Miguel. The family loves to watch movies, read and play games. Brian also likes golf, cycling and chess.
In his previous life Brian worked as a detective, attorney and dormitory parent. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and a Master of Divinity from Regent College, Canada.
