Our Missions Committee organized an outing to Fraser Valley Gleaners (Abbotsford) to find out the "who, what and why" of the organization. FVG receives donated surplus and non-marketable produce and turns it into a dehydrated soup mix (with the help of amazing volunteers) for distribution through partner organizations to hungry people around the world.
Our group volunteered a morning helping to prep carrots and sweet peppers for the chopper and dehydrator.
